Boston Blogtoberfest, a Big Success

Boston Blogtoberfest was great fun last night. I didn’t know a soul, and no bloggers in attendance mentioned me in their blogs today, but I still had fun and a lot of vodka and have the Flickr photos to prove it. My evening ended with me face to face with a 1/2 naked man wielding a meat cleaver (*outside a friend’s apartment no less), which, if you know me, is about par when I go out for A Big Night.
Props to Jenny for setting it up and all the other great people for traveling near and far to be at Match.
Was is me or all female bloggers around Boston very cool? I was expecting, heck I didn’t know what to expect, but these gals definitely have got game. There were only 5-7 guys, I was told they hide behind their blogs and don’t come out much.
I’m not much of a “this is what I’m thinking, this is what I ate for breakfast kind of blogger”, I’ll leave that to the cool kids. My main blog is here is you’re interested.
I turn 38 in exactly 12 hours. Shudder.

It’s not just you, bro’. There were lots of really attractive females there. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), most of them were about my daughter’s age.
BTW, I have your business card, so I think we were talking with Steve G at the bar, right?
That is correct, quite the fun gtg.
[...] The only person I knew in the room was Steve Garfield, who I met at Blogtoberfest a few weeks ago. My media days in Boston were in the early 90’s and I’m excited to reconnect, learn and lot and hopefully share some of experience and insight I’ve had with blogs, RSS, SecondLife and other social media-related stuff.
