David Beisel, leader of the Boston Web Innovators Group, has joined Venrock.

After a couple of great years at Masthead, I have decided to leave and join Venrock.  Based in the Cambridge office, I will remain focused on early-stage venture investments in the digital media sector (primarily in the internet and mobile spaces).  And as part of that practice, I will continue to blog at GenuineVC and lead the Boston Web Innovators Group.

Good luck to David, I’m looking forward to this month’s WebInno, and the upcoming dinners and other associated events. Now, if they would get that wiki so that it actually did something useful.
