3pointD.com is my go-to blog for all things SecondLife. I just read that a plug-in for the open source Blender 3D modeling program has been developed which mimics Second Life’s building tool. I’ve been floating around SL for quite some time, maybe it’s time to get some land and build something. The problem with “things”, real or virtual, is that you have to maintain and protect them, something I have not wanted to get involved with lately, too much real life stuff going on. I was building virtual objects in Active Worlds almost 10 years ago and today I feel a bit of
“been there done that” even though today’s graphics and physics are much better. I’m getting older, just give me a PS3 and I’ll be fine.
