Perusing Techmeme this morning I read that Virtual Ubiquity was bought by Adobe.  VU created Buzzword, a web-based word processor that I first saw at Webinnovators earlier this year and though it looked pretty slick.

Congrats to the Virtual Ubiquity team and good luck to Adobe, the webtop marketplace is chock full of writing applications. I’m sticking with office for Mac and waiting for the AIR version of Buzzword, which will be out sometime next year.
