Hacking Virgin Mobile Minutes Giveaway

Marketing Vox says Virgin Mobile will give away free minutes to ad viewers who agree to interact with ads via text messaging or their computers. Subscribers can earn up to 75 free minutes per month via the initiative, dubbed SugarMama. How long until someone figures out a way to game the system to get all the minutes in one fell swoop?

I spent some time earlier this year thinking about giving away Skype Minute in return for viewing ads, only to have Skype announce free SkypeOut for the rest of the year.

Skype has tossed down thw gauntlet. In an announcement today, the company announced that SkypeOut – the ability to call any landline or mobile number – is now available free through the end of the year to all U.S. and Canadian customers.
